anyways,yesterday,a syeikh frm yemen came over here(s.Ali Jufri)...
his talk(altho i got to attend only 45mins of it) was superb!!!
He talked abt our thoughts to do evil,
where they come frm,
+how to fight them = the whole package!!!
i/allah,i'l tel u abt in in d-tail e nxt time i blog(sorry,i'm in ahurry now...)

also,tomorrow(27th Jun),i'l be goin off to ummu thuyur for a beach holiday tri(on the mediterranian sea!!)....

lastly,tau tak,now,as its summer,the days have gotten very very very loNG!!

just nak share:
yesterday,i heard this frm Syeikh Ramadhan Buuthi(he's famous here)..:

He was talkin abt the things people say abt the Quran to cause confusion..
One big thing people accuse Allah 'azza wa jalla of is unfairness(wal'iyaazubillaahi min dzaalik!)...
padahal,min sifaatillah is Al-'Adl(the Fair)...
why do they say this??
Because,there is one ayat in the Quran which says that everything the non-muslims have done in this world,be it good or even excellent,will be reduced to 'nothingness' in the akhirat..the only reason being them non-believers in Allah...he gave as an example the person who invented the telephone:so much good has come out of it---hewever,he will not feel a cent of this goodness in
akhirat....fair>??//

Syeikh Buuthi's answer:(a very logical answer)--
suppose man A agrees on a reward to do a certain job for man B.
After man A finishes his work n does it the best way he can,
is it fair if man B doesnt give him the agreed price but gives him another reward??
Even The rules of the world will surely say that it is the right of man A to receive exactly
what has been agreed upon,not any less n not even any more,except if the extra is like a bonus
or something like that...

Likewise,supposing it is said to the man who invented the telephone(supposing also he isn't a muslim):"u won't get any pay or reward or name for this wonderful thing u invented"..."u'll get your reward in the hereafter"...
do u think he will accept this??
of course not!!he will want the reward here n only here,as he doesnt even believe in the hereafter...
thus,he works n toils in this dunya n his agreed reward is in this dunya(this is what he wants
& has agreed to work for)...thus,Allah THe all-Fair gives him his reward here,but he doesnt get anything in the akhirat...hmmm...why???
because,he didnt agree to accept his reward there...
witness the fairness of Allah!!!!
(ان الله لا يظلم الناس شيئا ولاكن الناس أنفسهم يظلمون)

Jadi,likewise,if a Muslim works for Allah & the hereafter,he WILL get it + he will get
the dunya also(as a bonus from Allah,as Allah is Kariim & Rahiim to the people who submit to him)....

So0,Muslims::work hard n do ur best,as a hadith says:
(ان الله يحب عبدا اذا عمل عملا ان يتقنه)
(Allah likes it if his servant does something to the best of his ability)...

i'll share what my Anisah(Ustazah) said on keberkatan masa...
She said:"Ulama'2 dulu semua,masa mereka berkat...
they could do soO many things in soO short a time..."
4 eg:
-Imam Nawawi blajar 12 Duruus in a day...
-Banyak imam2 dpt menulis beratus mukasurat dalam satu malam...
(i can't recall the name of this imam,but
he writes @ night,& sends whatever he has written to
the publishers in the morning,...the group of publishers take 9 hours to just
decipher what he has written!!:))Subhaanallah!!!

THE MAIN REASON WHY THEIR TIME diberkati is that they take care to follow as many as the sunnahs of Rasulullah (s.a.w) as possible...
so,sempena maulid nabi,ni,let's aim to try our best to follow as many as our beloved Prophet's traditions as possible...

news flash!!!!!
Precipitation in the form of snow fell in most parts
of the city of Damascus on Tues,22 Jan 08!!!!!!=>

Snow falls normally in a only a few parts of Damascus
and only comes down @ the place i live(Ruknuddeen)
once in a few years....
& this year,my first year here,it has come down,
(or rather,Damascus has been chosen as one of its 'landing"places :p)
alhamdu wasy-syukru kulluhuu lillaah!!!=>

of course,pasal 1st tym nampak snow,ktorg jakun giler!!!hehe....
that day al-mubaarakah,we mubaasharatan
went to Bludan(a mountain abt an hr away which has a lot of snow)....
the beautiful scenery along the way there(trees weighed down wit snow-
snow-capped mountains-whiteness everywhere i look-cars stuck in ice...)
Subhaanallah....there must be a Creator who planned all this....
there must surely be a Creator who designed qall this...
there must be a Creator who made all this....

How're u???I'm,hamdanlillah, breathing & fine in this cold place which was the centre of the Omayyad period quite a long time ago...

I've not written to u for over a month....i was rearranging my time to make the most of it,& somehow,along the line,time for writing to u got lost...hehe...:>

Anyway...i wanna tell u a bit about a masrahiyyah(stage performance) i went to...

Titled:Rihlatu Imaam(Journey of the imam)...

Hadirin & hadirat--all women... style,kan???

Journey of which imam,u will be asking??

The play showed the life story of Imam As-Syaafi'ee Rahimahullaah...

Subhaanallah,the play was soO Gerek!!!

With nice backdrops & colourful costumes+singing & dancing,the life of

Imaamunaal Faqiih was shown...

Each scene showed a different part of his life...

-His birth...

-his studies in Makkah...

-his work as a Qadhi in Yaman...

-his 'capture' & journey to Baghdad,Iraq...

-his return to Makkah...

-his journey to Mesir...

-last scene:---(4 Imams

wearing white jubahs on stage...they explained that they were not enemies...

Imam Syafi'ie:student of Imam MaalikImam Syafi'ie:student of Imam Abu Hanifah's student,Imam Muhammad bin Al-HasanImam Ahmad bin Hanbal:student of Imam Syafi'ie)

They explained that difference of mazhabs does not bring perpecahan...

It just shows that Islam is a very flexible religion which is not backdated or jumud...

It is actually growing all the time to fit all the new challenges which are coming up...

(but still based on Al-Quran & As-Sunnah of course!!)

*Lagi satu,this masrahiyyah also showed Imam Maalik teaching his daughter(Fathimah)his book Al-Muwaththa',& her teaching many other women henceforth...

Rupe-rupenye,many women studied & taught hadith in the past...

Subhaanallah...

Allaahummaj'alnaa minal 'aarifiina bikalaamika wa sunnati rasuulika.aameen..=>

Oh,ya!!On HariRaya Aidil Adha(alamak,lamenye,...skarang da muharram!!;P),we watched penyembelihan kambing...u noe where it was held???

@ kedai2 daging!!style,kan???

pulak saya tinggal dekat dengan pasar...

ade ard 4 to 5 daging shops en route to my house frm Jame' Solaahuddin,

where i went to solat 'Eid....

We were lookin when suddenly,2 kambings escaped!!!!!

hahaha...chaos reined!!

(actually,not dat much,cos humans run faster than sheep)...

All i can say is that Alhamdulillah, they didnt turn right,cos we were directly on their right...

It turned left!!!

AllaahuAkbar Wa lillaahil Hamd...

My frens & i went there 2 days b4 Eid,so,the

Markets were full of 'tooth destroyers'!!!
